Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics: Use modern diagnostic techniques and equipment to accurately pinpoint mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
- Inspections: Conduct and record thorough multi-point digital and photographic vehicle inspections and document findings for Service Advisors to communicate to customers.
- Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid flushes.
- Repairs: Repair or replace steering and suspension components, brakes, transmissions, and engines. Road-test vehicles before and after service to ensure all repairs are completed successfully, address customer concerns, and meet safety standards.
Shop Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and hazardous waste disposal regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of professional experience in an independent shop or dealership service department.
- Certifications: ASE certifications (A1–A8) are highly preferred but not required; Section 609 EPA Certification for HVAC required and a commitment to ongoing education.
- Software Proficiency: Must be capable of learning software systems (internal) and other systems such as WORD and Excel. Tekmetric experience is a plus.
- License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Tools: Must possess a professional set of tools and basic and specialty tools.
- Physical: Ability to lift 60–75 lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and long periods of standing.

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
